Pendulum Instructions

1.0 PACKAGE APPEARANCE

- A rectangular box with 1 cardboard tube containing the pole section.
- A box containing the Hoop and related strap.

2.0 CONTENU DE L’EMBALLAGE

1 pole section.
1 Hoop/Lollipop.
1 Hook pre-fitted to the pin on the Hoop to pass the strap through.
1 Through Strap of 150 cm in length.
1 10-mm key.
1 5-mm hexagonal key.
1 Instruction sheet with QR code.

2.1 ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION NOT INCLUDED

-Ceiling hook (it is possible to purchase the Albatros, which has a swivel mechanism incorporated).
-Cord, strap or Daisy Chain to hook the Pendulum to the ceiling.
-Swivel mechanism, which allows the Pendulum to rotate without twisting the cords (required if the Albatros plate is not installed).
-Carabiners (as required).

3.0 PENDULUM ASSEMBLY

To make assembly easier and quicker, the Pendulum is delivered with the strap already inserted in the hook on the Hoop.

Be careful when disassembling the product not to damage the cords or the pole coating.

Assembly of the Pendulum must be carried out on the floor.

Assembly is to be carried out in a kneeling position.

To fully assemble the Pendulum, for example to substitute the strap, go to point 4.0

3.1 INSERT THE STRAP INTO THE POLE

1. Place the hoop and the pole on the floor.
2. Insert the strap into the pole until it comes out of the other side
Avoid dragging the section on the ground.

ATTENTION! DO NOT TWIST THE STRAP, avoid rotating the pole or the hoop.

3.2 INSERT THE HOOP INTO THE POLE AND TIGHTEN THE PAWL

1. Insert the pin of the hoop into the pole section, aligning the hole with the pawl. ATTENTION! DO NOT TWIST THE STRAP.
2. Use the 5-mm hexagonal key to tighten the joint, turning it clockwise and tightening as much as possible.

ATTENTION!!! Before use, always ensure that the joint is properly tightened.
Never allow the straps inside the pole to twist.

THE PENDULUM IS ASSEMBLED, NOW YOU MAY PROCEED WITH INSTALLATION

Once the Pendulum has been assembled, it can be installed by hooking it to the ceiling.

4.0 COMPLETE PENDULUM ASSEMBLY OR STRAP SUBSTITUTION

These instructions explain how to fully assemble the Pendulum.

ATTENTION: the strap supplied by the company together with the product has been made to precise technical specifications and a determined load capacity. Substituting this strap with other unsuitable cords or cords of inferior quality may lead to serious accidents and injury.

4.1 REMOVE THE SAFETY SLEEVE

Hold the safety sleeve with the fingers and slide it off completely.

4.2 UNSCREW JUST ONE SCREW WITH THE 10-MM KEY

1. Lower the cord block.
2. Use the 10-mm key to unscrew and remove a single screw.

4.3 INSERT THE NEW STRAP

Insert a new strap.

ATTENTION: the strap supplied by the company together with the product has been made to precise technical specifications and a determined load capacity. 4.4 RETIGHTEN THE SCREW AS FAR AS IT WILL GO

1. Use the 10-mm key to tighten the screw as far as it will go. Make sure the key is properly inserted into the screw head in order to avoid premature damage.

2. Use a pencil to make sure that the two screws are at the same height.
This check is extremely important in ensuring that the product is safe to use, and in order to be able to correctly insert the safety sleeve.

4.5 INSERT THE SAFETY SLEEVE

1. Check that the screws are positioned as shown in the photo.
2. Insert the safety sleeve.

5.0 PENDULUM INSTALLATION

The Pendulum must be fitted to a ceiling or suitable beams.

ATTENTION! Always use a swivel joint to make sure the strap does not twist. If you have purchased our Albatros plate, the swivel mechanism is already incorporated into the plate.

5.1 ATTACH THE PENDULUM TO THE CEILING

CONNECTING THE POLE TO THE CEILING WITH THE ALBATROS PLATE:
1. Hook the first carabiner to the strap.
2. Attach the cord or the strap or the daisy chain (not included) needed to connect the pole to the ceiling to the carabiner.
3. Attach the second carabiner to the end of the cord or the strap or the daisy chain.
4. Attach the second carabiner to the Albatros plate.


CONNECTING THE POLE TO THE CEILING WITHOUT THE ALBATROS PLATE:
1. Hook a carabiner + swivel joint + carabiner to the strap.
2. Attach the cord or the strap or the daisy chain (not included) needed to connect the pole to the ceiling to the carabiner.
3. Attach the third carabiner to the end of the cord or the strap or the daisy chain.
4. Connect the third carabiner to the ceiling hook.

6.0 UNINSTALLING PENDULUM

Place the Pendulum on the ground in a horizontal position before proceeding.
  Using the 5-mm hex key, rotate the pin in the upper section for 3.5 turns.

ATTENTION: DO NOT TURN THE HEX KEY TOO FAR IN A COUNTERCLOCKWISE DIRECTION, OTHERWISE THE STEEL THREADED BOLT WILL MOVE TOO FAR IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION, ONCE AGAIN LOCKING THE JOINT.
IF THIS HAPPENS, TURN THE STEEL THREADED BOLT CLOCKWISE AS FAR AS IT WILL GO USING THE 5-MM HEX KEY, AND THEN TURN IT COUNTERCLOCKWISE FOR JUST 3 COMPLETE TURNS.

2. Rotate the Pendulum until you see the silver pin, then use the hexagonal key to push the pin inwards.
3. Gently separate the hoop from the pole.



7.0 PRE-USE CHECKS

7.1 BEFORE EVERY USE, check that the joint is always fully tightened.
7.2 WITH EVERY USE, check that the cord or the strap is not damaged or worn, and if damage or wear is discovered, immediately substitute the cord or strap and DO NOT use the Pendulum.
7.3 Check that all the hanging accessories are suited to the relative use.
7.4 Check that the equipment is used by experts and provide any necessary fall-prevention equipment (for example protective mats)

8.0 MAINTENANCE

8.1 UltraGrip pole cleaning: MEK (Methyl Ethyl Ketone) on a lint-free cotton cloth
While cleaning use personal protective equipment. It is advisable to ventilate the area after cleaning the pole.
8.2 Periodically substitute the cords and substitute them immediately if damaged and/or worn.

9.0 WARNINGS

9.1 The keys required for assembly, installation and uninstallation are supplied. Contact the Technical Support Service before using other tools, to make sure they are suitable.
9.2 Always pay the utmost attention during all stages of assembly, installation and uninstallation of the product, and follow the instructions.
9.3 If in doubt, contact the support service.
9.4 Do not allow unskilled persons or minors to use, install or handle the product without supervision.
9.5 As it is an item of sports equipment, the product must be used by skilled and trained persons.
9.6 Do not attempt moves that you are unable to do without supervision.
9.7 Use suitable protection and certified safety mattresses.
9.8 Choose the UltraGrip (rubber) coating if the pole is to be used suspended.
