The GeckoGrip™ coating is available in two colors: glossy white and glossy black. Poles with GeckoGrip™ coating are hypoallergenic, nickel-free, and do not transfer color onto the hands. The GeckoGrip™ coating does not wear out with use and, if scratched over time, will not become harmful to the skin—unlike traditional chrome poles, which can peel and become sharp.

For using the WhirlPole® also as a Flying Pole at significant heights, we recommend the SuperGrip™ material (see: WhirlPole® SuperGrip™), which, thanks to its special rubberized finish, provides a better grip for hands and legs, ensuring greater safety.

The WhirlPole® is equipped with a carabiner that allows the attachment of an Hand Loop, opening new choreographic possibilities and expanding creative potential in performances.

MADE IN ITALY WITH THE BEST QUALITY MATERIALS

The WhirlPole® GeckoGrip™ Evo is made with highest-quality materials and cutting-edge technologies, ensuring maximum strength, safety, and superior performance to meet the demands of the top professionals in the field.

 

The WhirlPole® GeckoGrip™ Evo consists of:

-Two pole sections, each 150 cm long, with GeckoGrip™ coating.

-A 325 cm long webbing with a breaking load of 23 kN, to be replaced periodically or in case of wear.

-The upper attachment to be inserted at the top of the pole.

-A central internal joint to allow the safety webbing to pass inside the pole.

-A ball to be inserted at the bottom of the pole.


A black hexagonal base to hold the ball, allowing the pole to perform moves inclined at approximately 45°.


The space required to use the inclined pole varies depending on the angle of inclination; consider a minimum radius equal to 3/4 of the pole length (for a 300 cm long pole, a radius of 225 cm should be allowed).

The part of the base in contact with the floor is coated with high-friction rubber to prevent slipping during use.

Attention: It is important that the contact area between the base and the floor is free of dirt, which could reduce grip and cause lateral slipping.

The installation of the WhirlPole® is carried out by attaching the rope emerging from the upper end of the pole to the ceiling using appropriate and secure supports, and by fitting the ball at the bottom of the pole into the designated receptacle of the hexagonal base.

 

The transition from spinning pole to flying pole is achieved simply by shortening the rope until the pole is lifted and suspended in the air.

 

The WhirlPole® GeckoGrip™ Evo has a maximum length of 300 cm, consists of only two pieces each 150 cm long, and is available in two diameters: 40 mm or 45 mm. We specify that the 40 mm GeckoGrip™ pole is designed for use by a single person, while the 45 mm can also be used for doubles.

 

WARNING: For the use of the WhirlPole® as a flying pole at significant heights, we recommend the SuperGrip™ material (see: WhirlPole® SuperGrip™), which, thanks to its special rubberized coating, provides a better grip for hands and legs, thus ensuring greater safety.

The GeckoGrip™ Finish

The WhirlPole® Evo pole with GeckoGrip™ coating is available in two color variants, glossy white and glossy black, featuring the special GeckoGrip™ finish—a manufacturing process that, starting from a specially prepared steel tubular element, coats THEPOLE poles with plastic molecules possessing extraordinary characteristics.

  • NICKEL-FREE: contains no nickel and is therefore ideal for all pole dancers and for gym installations, ensuring clients a risk-free experience.

  • EXCELLENT GRIP: thanks to its micro-formulation, it provides extraordinary grip, reducing the gripping effort required from the adductor muscles and the thumb tendon group.

  • SAFETY DURING USE: even if the pole’s surface becomes scratched over time, it will not become dangerous to the skin, unlike traditional chrome poles which may peel.

  • DOES NOT TRANSFER COLOR: this special coating is designed not to transfer color onto the hands, unlike other types of coatings.

  • DURABILITY: does not wear out with use.

WhirlPole® GeckoGrip™ Evo is a two-in-one aerial pole: it can be used as a spinning & inclined pole dancing pole, as well as a flying pole for pole dance and aerial fitness.

To change your pole’s nature, it is enough to shorten the support rope and lift the pole.

Advantages

The WhirlPole® GeckoGrip™ Evo pole is divisible into two parts and is therefore easily transportable both by plane and by car.

 

Installation is simple and quick: just attach the pole’s rope to the ceiling using appropriate supports and place the pole’s ball into the base.

 

The WhirlPole® GeckoGrip™ Evo pole is compatible with the Albatros accessory: a steel plate that is fixed to the ceiling with anchors, allowing you to save space and reduce the cost of a traditional swivel by directly attaching accessories to the included rotating safety ring.
