The WhirlPole® is a two-in-one aerial pole: it can be used both as a Flying Pole (suspended from the ground) and as an inclined, spinning pole by inserting the ball into the hexagonal base—even within the same performance.

Already used by top performers worldwide, thanks to its features and the materials employed, it ensures great reliability and long-lasting durability.

Thanks to the special rubber coating, which provides an excellent grip for hands and legs—and thus greater safety—

the WhirlPole® with SuperGrip™ coating is also recommended for use as a Flying Pole (aerial pole).

The WhirlPole® is equipped with a shackle that allows the attachment of a Hand Loop, opening new choreographic possibilities and expanding the creative potential of performances.

 

MADE IN ITALY WITH THE BEST QUALITY MATERIALS

The WhirlPole® SuperGrip™ Evo is made with top-quality materials and cutting-edge technologies, ensuring maximum strength, safety, and superior performance to meet the needs of the most demanding professionals in the industry.

 

The WhirlPole® SuperGrip™ Evo consists of:

-Two pole sections, each 150 cm long, with SuperGrip™ (previously known as UltraGrip3) coating.
-A 325 cm-long webbing strap with a breaking load of 23 kN, which must be replaced periodically or in case of wear.
-The upper attachment to be inserted at the top of the pole.
-A central internal joint to allow the safety strap to pass inside the pole.
-A ball to be inserted at the bottom of the pole.
-A black hexagonal base designed to house the ball, allowing movements with the pole inclined at approximately 45°.

The space required to use the pole in the inclined position varies depending on the inclination angle; we recommend considering a minimum radius equal to ¾ of the total pole length (for a 300 cm pole, a radius of at least 225 cm is required).

 

The part of the base in contact with the floor is covered with high-friction rubber, which prevents it from slipping during use.

Warning: it is essential that the contact area with the base remains clean and free from dirt, as any debris may reduce grip and cause lateral slipping.

The installation of the WhirlPole® is carried out by attaching the rope that comes out from the upper end of the pole to the ceiling using appropriate and secure supports, and by inserting the pole’s ball into the designated socket of the hexagonal base.

Switching from spinning pole to flying pole is easily done by shortening the rope until the pole is lifted and suspended in the air.

The WhirlPole® SuperGrip™ Evo is available in the 48 mm diameter version and in light grey and black colors. It is fully coated with the special SuperGrip™ finish, which allows the pole to be used while wearing clothing or stage costumes, while also ensuring excellent grip in all conditions.
(It does not release any color on clothing or hands.)

The production process guarantees the SuperGrip™ coating a durability and reliability incomparable to other rubberized poles that use fitted sheaths.
The pole with SuperGrip™ coating stands out precisely for its exclusive layering performed directly on the metal which prevents it from slipping.

Any small blowouts or bulges on the pole surface (often invisible from a short distance) are typical of the production process adopted and do not absolutely affect the performance of the coating.

Spinning Pole & Flying Pole

The WhirlPole® SuperGrip™ Evo offers two functions in a single pole: spinning pole (rotating and inclined) and flying pole (suspended – Flying Pole).

Switching from spinning pole to flying pole is easily done by simply shortening the rope until the pole is lifted and suspended in the air.

Advantages

The WhirlPole® SuperGrip™ Evo pole can be divided into two sections, making it easy to transport both by plane and by car.


Installation is quick and simple: just attach the pole’s rope to the ceiling using appropriate supports and place the pole’s ball into the base.


The WhirlPole® SuperGrip™ Evo pole is compatible with the Albatros accessory— a steel plate that is fixed to the ceiling using anchors and allows you to save both space and the cost of a traditional swivel by directly connecting accessories to the included rotating safety ring.
